SCOTLAND TRUST AUTUMN PRAYER BULLETIN - Latest News
As summer rather hastily ushers Autumn in, I'm sure like me you stand amazed at how quickly the days are flying by. As the rest of the year stretches ahead of us , I believe the Lord has much still in His plans for 2011. The important principle is that we do not get caught up in the increasing busyness of life that we miss the" still small voice ". We feel the same in the work that the Lord has called us to do in the Scotland Trust. There is yet more, much more....
As we press into God for all that lies ahead we very much appreciate you journeying with us in your support and prayers.
***Please pray for the following points.;- ***
--- Exciting new initiative about to come into being is the "One Church" .. Jim is heading up this new ministry around Perth and Kinross area. This is to be a Saturday night church to meet the growing need identified amongst the unchurched in the 18- 30 yr old age range. Please pray God's blessing and protection as we seek to reach out to this up and coming generation with the good news of Jesus .
--Please pray for the work of the" One Band " . God is really blessing this ministry in incredible ways as they minister in schools in a language the kids can understand. At the moment they are in the middle of a month of schools week - communicating to 4000 school children in the month of September alone. Pray the Lord to plant many seeds in these tender hearts . Pray also for health and strength for the band as they have a busy schedule. They are a huge blessing to us , and to God!
--Volunteers : We have recently had to say goodbye to 2 of our volunteers who have had to move on after serving off two years with the Scotland Trust. We wish them God's richest blessings for serving with us , and pray mighty days ahead in all they do. Please pray that replacements will be found soon.
-- JIm - Please continue to pray for Jim who not only is the face of the S.T , but also its main hands and feet as well . He has a very busy few months ahead with various speaking engagements all over the country. ( check his blog for itinery) Pray that he will know Gods' strengthening and protection both physically and spiritually. And that he continues to know favour up and down the land.
Thank you for your interest in this ministry. We really do value your encouragement and especially your prayers.
May you be encouraged as you serve the Lord in your local area and local church. May you know God's abundant blessings as together we seek His face and prepare in anticipation to His coming to this nation again in a day of His power,
yours in His service
Donna MacNeil
SPRING 2011
Thank you so much for your continued interest in the work of the Scotland Trust. The last few months has seen the work continue to grow and develop. Our updates have been sporadic due to illness and major busyness, but we press on knowing the joy of the lord as our strength .
We really do value your prayers folks, and are so blessed that you remember this ministry before the Lord. It really is about us all being hand so plough together.
Regardless of what the enemy says, and regardless of national statistics the Lord's spirit is stirring and moving across our nation. We are blessed and encouraged to hear of various moves of the spirit and various initiatives springing up in different and no denominations across our land. We need to thank God for all He is doing whilst continuing to intercede that he do even greater amongst us in these days.
-Please pray for continued blessing on the work of the S.T
-Pray for Jim as he continues to build up the initiatives already in place, and facilitate new things in Gods timing. Pray for blessings, good health and spiritual protection.
- Continue to pray for the work of the One Band in various schools. This branch of the work is bearing incredible fruit. Only recently the band spread their wings and were involved in ministering to over 700 young people in Edinburgh. We are so thankful to Dawn and Sam who have surrendered their time and talents to God for this season in their lives to work with the Scotland Trust. Remember the sports ministry in local schools which is also a major blessing to the young people who lives have been impacted.
- Continue to pray with us that love and unity may abound between all groups who work in our nation. May we all have the one goal of reaching the lost with the good news of Jesus, and seek as the church to love one another and honour one another
- Please pray for the Easter praise event to be held in Perth. Come and be a part of celebrating the Easter message and praying Gods spirit to be poured out on those who have never heard it , or as yet don't believe it .
- And yet there is more........please do pray for a continued flow of finance to fund both the on going projects and the vision that we have for new things. In this current financial climate may we continue to build into the Kingdom of God in our local areas and nationally.
- Please do not underestimate how much we both appreciate and value your prayer commitment. Please continue to stand with us, as we continue to stand alongside others in reaching the harvest in Scotland for Jesus.
Thankyou so much
